M@gnifico

It took me some time again to log-in and continue kitsching..
First I will be changing "tense" that I will use.
Just like dear diary or dear my angel..

Ok pare I'll give muna an overview what keeping this soul busy.. or so i think..
I am currently finishing the instrument datasheets (Shit talaga) for the Mogas PJ.
This project is located in Kawasaki Japan under the supervision of ExxonMobil.
The client is designing a grassroots facility to reduce sulfur concentration of Naphtha refinery up to 10 ppm
in accordance to the strict government environmental regulations.

This engineer is listing all the instruments for this system.
Level gauge, Level Instrument and Controllers, Temperature gauge, Temperature Instrument and Controllers
and Flowmeters and Controllers.
It's an easy work, the problem is on the quantity.
ok stop on engineering stuff.

Last night I watched the critically acclaimed movie "Magnifico"
I was surprised on how super dragging the movie.
It was late at night and wasn't imagine that I will be crying at 12 am watching cinema1.
Maybe because some events in Magnifico is something that I can relate to.
Like when his lola (portrayed by Gloria Romero) was bedridden and almost succumbing to the
pain of cancer.
My lolo was just like that. Every hinaing of gloria romero was like the hinaing of lolo.
Putang-ina talaga pare.

The good thing about this movie is how story of another character affects the story of another.
This is where the mastery of Filipino in cinema comes in. The complexities of these intertwined stories
makes the viewer contemplate on his story.
Technically? Dont ask. It's not like harry potter or LOTR.

Jiro who played Magnifico was very natural. Even Lorna Tolentino who played his mother
I think gave a tremendous effort. Acting like as if not your acting is wonderful. The honesty is there.
If you want hard core drama at par with The Passion of Christ.. Watch this film on holidays..
babait ka!

Anyway back to reality..

Bago ko patayin yung TV, I turned the channel to Studio 23 where Men's Room is being shown.
A UP student was being interviewed and said that you get to hook-up or have a relationship based on three things:
1 - Familiarity
2 - Similarity
3 - Proximity
hmmp, she got me thinking there.. maybe it's true..
