my first encounter with barangay fil-am

we were invited to this picnic yesterday hosted by pinoy birthday celebrants... and parents of a kid who celebrated also her bday. the picnic was in portofina park at upland, CA.
maybe around 40 pinoys were there sharing the traditional lechon, chapseuy, menudo, sago T gulaman and the popular highly fatty but yummmy leche flan. its a feast no doubt. everbody was having fun.. at least the kids were allowed to run and play some ball and swing themselves on the playground. well since we were first timers.. we dont have gift... pero may baon kami pag-uwi.. o di ba, ang kapal? hehehe

i met some of the technip pinoys. im trying to acquaint myself to at least everyone.. hehehe alam nyo namn ako di masyadong friendly..

but since age gap is really difficult and when everyone seems interested more on reproductive health and changing diapers during night topics... it was quite a hurdle for me to fit in.. guddam!!! im single, with work and fabulous! -- this quote is from suze, money mistake show... suze btw is the furious lady who scold american viewers with their pathetic and moronic way of handling their dollars!

anyway, i think i saw 4 ladies with inflated belly.. yes i think the men arent just working hard in the office.. they also stretching their muscles on the bed... who can blame them.. we are like squatters here.. just have resources in our dispense.. so whats the best time to have fun, inexpensive and extra heatlhy... SEX! and the result... babies! yes all the pinoys here are in the procreation mode.. go and multiply while daddy has dollar.... hehehehe

for me still stuck here in my hotel.. no gimick yet cause my last pay check for the week just enough to pay some of my miscl bills, gym and padala sa pinas.. still struggling to become stable. maybe 3-4 mos time, i can breath comfortably and not to worry if starbucks frap is a need or a want.. or if that nike shoes fits my feet or wallet. some belly tightning so they say.

i still have to acquire so many things to live acceptably comfortable. mahirap nga talaga sa america. leaving your america dream is a challenge... enormous that i think not everyone can withstand.. maybe thats why many pinoy is getting denied with their visa.. don t be sad coz not everyone here are happy!! dont envy us!

america has its positive and negative side. just like japan. just like pinas! just like anywhere else.
i just pray that whatever the blend of good and bad.. we re be able to surpass these challenges and make the best out of it..

i miss my family, i miss the person i love.. i miss my friends.. i miss my dog!
i miss u ol!

good thing got my barangay ginebra! hope they make me insanely high and happy.
