TGIF was a blast in carmona at ate K's sweet home.
Ate K is my coolest boss who her sensitivity, youthful and kalog outlook in life I admire.
She decided to throw a party for her friends here in office mostly the "kids"

She's going to singapore- - work there for "greener" sing-$$$
I can feel the sacrifice she's making because her kids nikki and aron are still young.
But who can blame her? Sc and La-gloria is on the go for the E-vat!

Since we know how to use PRO-II, and the stream summary is provided like the compositions and physical conditions (T,P) at HMB,
i think it is better that we utilize the software instead of creating a new excel software for estimation. This would also increase the accuracy of our result , become more reliable, and maybe more acceptable to YOC since estimation using empirical formula, graphs and table from the books/references are subjected to some degree of tolerance or error.

We can also have the luxury to use appropriate thermodynamic method depending on the HC compositions and behavior of the fluid.

Another benefit, is that we can obtain other properties like viscosity or Cp/Cv for 2 phase flow.

I apologize because as much as I wanted to do it,
I dont want to sacrifice the time for the revisions of hydraulic output..
I think I have to prioritize the submission of the hydraulics of our pump sytem.
Maybe if we have time, I can go back and study for it and maybe use it on the future pJ/endeavor.

A new project and a new set of aura.
A new pumps to design...
20 sets more and I'm a certified bomba king!

However it wont stop me from timing-out at 5pm to release all pressures not on PSV's but on surreal laughter.
I was with kaye and dada, together with the mokongs jom and warin " bisaya accent for warren"

I was with them because they think I was broken hearted and maybe afraid of me hanging myself upside down on the tenth floor while singing "obla di obla da... life goes on...BRA!"

I can still have my senses intact and has a normal beautiful mind..

One thing that I like myself is that after all the challenges and dilemma I experienced, I think I never succumed from it...

Last night cadet and Jr process engr met with the EN div gods.Headed by Ms. Cristy and charistmatic leaders Ronnie and Raul.

It started with the one by one "May I know your name and how do you feel" portion.All of us took turn (more than twenty of us) in introducing ourselves and what project currently we're working on.This also the part where personal grievances and comments about the company and management style.

From the low salary, dont know where my career is heading, extending transporation and " I want to go to Japan request c/o rehuel" hehehe
Teary eyed Konny explained that salary isnt enough and she has to take loan from 10 thou up to 60 thou...The 800 increase just goes to her boarding fee in Alabang. She exclaimed that her average take home pay is 1thou.

Cadets seems clueless on the serious problem that JGC is facing.You can see how shallow their concerns at the moment.That's why one of them asked that a meeting with the whole department in lieu of "By-level" meeting.One of their big concern is about the transparency of their training liability and the status of their training program.Of course who are going to teach young ones if all the seniors are as fast as Hurricane Rita in landing to the promise land.

After has eveyone said their piece, maam cristy presented a slideshow on the status of JGC.Of course, it only proves that the company isnt losing money hence gaining huge amount of lapads!
However inspite of that since Jphil is a different entity we have to meet some kinna standards by keeping high efficiency rate at "Competitive" Cost. She emphasized that JGC delcon in Pakistan is charging $8 compare to our current $10 rate.The bottomline is that no way increase in salary an option to our problem.

She even disputed the claims that salary is the problem and the only solution to the crisis we're facing."BAKIT pag tinaas ba ang sweldo, hindi cla aalis"So with this why bother having this meeting if she thinks differently and obviously proving that she's out of her mind.

I want to be honest as possible. We are affected with the developments lately in our department. I would like to blatantly say that JR Engrs I don’t know if the Cadets also are feeling the same way. We are very troubled in the situation. We might not show it but our actions might be obvious. Since our start here in office, I think more than ten of our colleagues has already resigned. They may vary on the reasons of leaving but we all know that they have one common denominator. I don’t want to enumerate the things or issues because it has been raised over and over again. The "loyalty" check via the flash clip is a desperate move of the management to remind young engineers what they have. It’s a good call but sometimes it’s a company suicide. The company is fully aware of the situation and very guilty that the issues raised aren’t really addressed. We are doing our best to learn all the things and be of highly qualified to do all the tasks expected to us. Even one of the "more mature" engineer told
me that we are in a recession after Nagano-san’s departure. The root problem has already become almost incurable and will surely effect our department. One engineer has forecasted that next year it is possible that no resignees are expected because people left if not seniors, engineers are assigned abroad, are binded with their training liability. But the cycle will repeat a year after next. If this cycle happens for five years my fearless forecast would be our department will collapse and be a history. I don’t want to make the impression that young engineers are just thinking about money. (By the way who isn’t?). Financial independence what the young engineers are thinking now. With the fast track, very demanding and very difficult economic situation, engineers are always pre-occupied thinking how to budget their money. Most of us are single but in-spite of that most of our family (sisters and brothers) depends on us. For allowance, matriculation, grocery etc. In military, MORALLE is very important. And LOYALTY aren’t instilled rather earned. I hope the management would consider steps in addressing those problems the soonest possible time. Just concern.
